Holographic Positioning Table – COMMAND SYSTEM
The Holopackage® COMMANDSYSTEM is an interactive, holographic situational awareness system for situational awareness, crisis management, and training. The system allows for the visualization of augmented maps, the addition of annotations, videos, and animated 3D objects, as well as the integration of interfaces to existing IT systems. Multiple users can work on the same display simultaneously, either locally or remotely; the modular architecture allows for individual customization for government agencies, command centers, and emergency response teams.
COMMAND SYSTEM — Scalable sandbox model for tactical situations
The COMMANDSYSTEM projects scaled-down, interactive situational maps directly onto the terrain, complete with topography and standardized tactical symbols. City sections, terrain features, and infrastructure are represented to scale, for example, as a 6×4 m sandbox. Their size is scalable, and they can be physically explored—allowing emergency responders on-site to plan the situation from a bird's-eye view and immediately translate it into the walkable miniature.
Scenarios and dynamic elements (e.g., burning vehicles, road closures, evacuation routes) are controlled in real time and can be adjusted via desktop or tablet tools. Multiple users can work simultaneously. All actions and decisions are logged and available for after-action review—ideal for realistic, reproducible exercises in tactical situation assessment, coordination, and operational planning.
