Immersive technology for tactical training
With the Aetherion XR platform, military units experience realistic situational awareness directly in the field. Scenarios featuring NATO-standard tactical symbols, holographic vehicles, and full-size units can be precisely planned, customized, and controlled via the desktop application. Instructors centrally control all content through the Aetherion tool, while holographic elements seamlessly blend with the real environment. This creates an interactive, scalable training system for effective mission preparation and tactical decision-making.
Integration of weapons and equipment
Aetherion software enables the seamless integration of weapons, equipment, and object models into realistic XR training scenarios. Our weapon sensor can be mounted on all common firearms, allowing interaction between real firearms and training weapons with holographic 3D models; haptics and functional behavior are captured and incorporated into the simulation. Realistic handling under stress is a crucial factor in effective defense training—and that's precisely what Aetherion replicates.
Thanks to extended reality, comrades no longer need to be represented as avatars: the real people remain visible, while holographic elements such as enemies, explosions, or flying objects are projected onto the real terrain. Likewise, equipment such as flashlights, handcuffs, or similar tools remain physically present and fully functional; only the dynamic threat and scenario elements are holographically enhanced. Instructors conveniently control and adjust all content via the desktop tool—quickly, precisely, and with a focus on the mission.
